Found Location - Ten Mile Bridge before boat club! No cross streets, location inbetween Fort Worth, Lake Worth, Azle NAME: Found Great Pryenees (I have named her Light Furry) Age: Roughly 1 - 4yrs old Sex: Female Possibly had puppies 2ish months ago or is pregnant. She is lactating. Story: I was driving on Ten Mile Bridge twords Boat Club from volunteering at Celine's Cats & Canines Rescue when I spoted what looked like a pure white dog running on side of road. I pulled off to try and catch her. Took about 1+hrs. Passer byers slowed and hollered out their window "Shes been out for a while now & unable to catch. Possibly dumpped in the area as many are." Makes me so angry 😠 that people are so heartless! Made it my mission to catch her so she wouldnt be another victim to a Hit By Car especiallyon a 2 lane road 50+mph! A passerbyer stopped to help me feed & give her water as she had spoted her morning of 02/07/2026 on her way to work. She lent me a leash to try and catch her since I forgot to grab mine before heading home from the rescue. 15+ mins With no luck, lady left food/water & the leash & took off 😢. (I tied your leash to the location with my buisness card & info on it since I didnt catch your name or info). Luckily I did have an empty crate in the bed of my truck and after a while of feeding her some Mikes Beef Jerky 😋 I caught her on the leash the lady left me ❤️. As she thrashed and bit out of fear 😨 but now I was thinking how do I get this girl into a crate alone and lift her? Luckily a Neighbor & her family of ours was driving home on Ten Mile & happened to have seen me struggling. So they pulled over to help. We got her loaded and I was able to bring her home to decompress and scan for a chip (NO CHIP-Scaned 3xs). If anyone is missing her, please let me know as she will be with me. SAFE & Sound may go up for adoption with Celines Cats & Canines if not claimed. Update: Went to search where I caught her for her puppies for 3+hrs with no luck in hearing or sightings. Left my buisness card with info on it in a few mail boxes located near where I found her. Left leash on fence line were lady stopped to help me so she can get it and my info also.
